FAQS ABOUT WINDOW TINT
- Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 4 inches of the windshield.
- Front Side windows: Aftermarket film must allow more than 88% of light in, or minimum 70% VLT if combined with factory-tinted windows.
- Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used.
- Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.
We usually complete our tint service in about 1-2 hours. For full vehicle installations + old tint removal, this can last longer. Either way, you’ll be updated throughout the length of the job and notified when your vehicle is ready to be picked up.
Of course! As long as the windows aren’t rolled up or down for about 3-5 days after the tint is installed, you will be fine as the window film is applied on the inside, not the outside.
Window tint will always go on the inside of the glass to keep it protected from elements, the sun, etc… Our window tinting professional installers will sometimes use the outside window to measure and cut the film and ensure it fits, and will then install it on the inside.
We STRONGLY advice you to allow the film 3-5 days to make sure the window film has dried up and made proper contact with the window. Rolling them down before then will cause bubbling or shifting in the tint which can result in additional charges.
Yes! You can drop it off or wait – whatever option is better for you. If you choose to wait, we have a waiting room with comfortable couches, drinks and WiFi.
